Washington DC writer, takes a train to New York where she discovers the love of her life [art] when she lands at a little art school called Parsons.
Next stop, a serendipitous internship on the 52nd floor of a Manhattan office building with Elle Magazine, opens the doors to the amazing word of publishing.
Fast forward to a mad venture with a fellow coworker leading to the creation of Two of Cups Design Studio and a divergence from publishing to marketing and product design.
A course correction, do to a love of architecture and a chance to explore all things Scandinavian, leads to an adventure in Denmark and a reaffirmation of the importance of clean design.
An unexpected and brief detour to Las Vegas to learn from the pros of publicity, sets the course to the Pacific Northwest. Final destination, Portland Oregon, for the next phase of the journey and the founding of Avenue A Design Studio.
